Why does my Duncan look like this??

It just seems to be more deflated than my other Duncan? I feed it directly with the reef food & I dose “fuel”. I don’t understand what’s going on I don’t think it’s hungry but I don’t know what else to think. it’s grown so much since the beginning of the year, it’s put out 7 heads that are plump but the main head is weird looking

here is the permanent rule about duncans: nothing they do follows a trend, pattern, or remarks upon any tank condition. they're subject to close up tight for 2 mos w no explanation, or be open fully best they've ever looked during a full tank crash event. duncans are the one coral you can discern absolutely nothing from by looking at them other than obvious tissue recession, if their skin is pulling up from the base and receding back towards the polyp then something is off in the tank but you'll be losing other lps flesh too when that's the case.
