My toadstool grows tilted directly towards the side of the tank . This means it's facing away from the light. The lights in my tank are not particularly bright, so I don't think that's the problem. In this position the flow comes from the side across the face of the toadstool. The flow is not particularly strong. Why would this be happening?

The view from the side of the side of the tank. This is the top of the toadstool:

Could be flow, could be one side of the stalk growing faster than the other. Could just be the way it wants to grow. It looks happy, so I wouldn't worry about it at this point. Have you tried turning it 180 degrees and see if it leans in that direction again?

No, I haven't tried because there is something else on the other side that wants to face the light. Maybe I will remove that plug. Oddly, it has never grown a stalk, except the bit it needs on the other side to make it tilt. It basically sits directly on top of the rock. I have had it since it was small and it has never shed either. I guess it must be happy.
