so i had a alk od wednesday evening... all is ok.... big shout out to all that helped me out. i learned and saw a few interesting thing durning this precipitation event like a falling ph.

as i watch the tank and worried . i notice my ph just dropped all day long. got down to a 8.1 for a nightly low from a normal 8.3X low.. the increased alk, spiked the ph (briefly thats odd), but the ph contiuned to drop to below MY normal levels. " the higher alk the higher ph" is what we learn, but this was the oppsite; i had high alk with a continuously falling ph. here is a graph of my ph fall.

so why did my ph not remain high and fall in unicen with the high alk?

i futher believe that since i maintain a high ph range of 8.5-8.6, the od of alk, with a ph spike up to 8.91 was a minor impact upon my corals? would you agree?

alk -blue range numbers or to the right
ph -orange range numbers to the left.

oh my bad yes i agree
how do i move it

I think a mod can. Not a big deal; was sort of just hinting that I believe there is some chemistry involved here

I was think hardware first but got side tracked. lol

Oh you might be right; how it affects apex/malfunction... good point. Not sure just figured chemistry would be involved after a precip event to explain the numbers the apex was showing (if they're to be trusted) :) following
