Yeah but it knocks every coral downif you want the sand bed moved, get a fighting conch. It will bulldoze itself through the sand all over the place. Nassarious bury in the sand, but i haven't noticed them doing and large movement of the sand in my tank. My nassarious also run around on the glass, but they also go in the sand.
I see you're problem, those are not Nassarius! Those are Astrea snails, they never go near the sand and eat algae, how you were sold Astreas instead of Nassarius though boggles my mind, that is a rip off.
