Why I find Tangs to be boring.

So I broke with my own tradition of trying not to buy tangs yet a month ago I bought a small mimic tango help with algae control not that I have much of it just a few patches here and there. I chose it because it is possibly the smallest of the tangs and I quite liked its colour plus it was cheap for a tang. Pic attached.

My friend has been trying to give me of of his yellow tangs for a while as it was getting a rough time and his other yellow tang was fine with the rest of his tangs. Anyway, he rang me yesterday as he had sumped the tang due to the bullying it was getting and more or less pleaded me to have it FOC. I gave in and he brought it over yesterday.

So I now have 2 tangs I never really wanted but hey oh. No more tangs.

I find them very bland and not very exciting. I refer to them as Doot Da Doos. They swim around going "Doot Da Do, Doot Da Do" etc. and not much else.

Agreed and have stated so before but it was a gift of mercy lol.

Yellow tangs are not cheap in the UK around £70 UK pounds. Around $80

Common here as well just not cheap.easy to move on if you want to get rid due to their highish LFS price.

Try a mimic tang they are probably the smallest of all the tangs.
