Hi my bta has been shrunken up for five days now it won’t extend its tentacles and it won’t get it to bubbles on his tentacles . Do you know why?

possible torn foot/tentacles, pooping(unlikely as it’s been 5days), unstable/unfavorable water parameters, being ticked off by tank inhabitants

I have had my tank for over three years and I have had other new i this tank before and they never did this

Could it have possibly happened because there is another nem in the tank???

For starters, if tank is new or newer, it already suggests an issue as they are best placed in a mature tank of 4 -6 months as less than that, tank is subject to chemistry changes, nitrate spikes and elevated phos and/or nitrate.
Another reason will be too much water flow and too little light.
Too much flow and they hide and too little light, they dont have enough production of inner algae known as zooxanthellae which is their color and energy source.
Aso assure salinity is not too low and temperature has not become warm

Ok so what do u recommend for salinity

Likely not unless a carpet anemone. Its associated with stress and likely linked with water/water quality

My own experience. It's possible. Currently treating an inferno and anothe bta as both became infected. Difficult for me to say if it was another event in my system that took place. Or if they got sick from each other.

The bta is recovering, inferno is pouty.
