Why is my coral melting?

All my new corals look good but this one looks like its melting or something maybe trying to reach for less light ?

The tissue is dying, not reaching for anything. Except the afterlife

Assure phos has not become highly elevated and not too much flow, salinity has not climbed. alk and calcium in safe range and PH 8.0-8.3

While not always the reason, my experience with melting / peeling sps is almost always alkalinity related

I’ll test that out today and hopefully I can add some more !
