My Duncan is a good eater and does the normal curl up to eat food and then reopens for more. Today he took food like normal and then has been sitting like this for some time. Any ideas why? (Photo with fish in it shows normal Duncan size/shape, close up photos are tonight)

Not abnormal

I don’t think you need to spot feed them. In my experience the Duncan will thrive and grow well without being target fed. You don’t want to feed so much it decays inside the polyp. But everyone has varied opinions on this.

My duncan did the same thing but recovered. Think my issue was nitrate spike. I do feed my duncan and it eats well, but only feed once or twice a week. It is growing new heads like crazy.
