why is my frogspawn closed

it did get knocked over a few times before i stuck it down properly but other than it closed up looks healthy

my alk also dropped to 5.9 somehow

i guess thats why its closed up but how long untill it will come around again

Forge pans can be finicky and sensitive to changes like moving and such. Don’t touch it for a while and try to keep the tank stable. How long probably depends on that frogspawn. Few days. Week or two. I’ve heard both those scenarios. Picture might help also to see what it looks like.

It looks ok it is just upset I have one with maybe 30 heads o it and it will sometime close up after I brush by it or move it
when I cut the little ones and attach to plugs .. that really upsets it .. closes foe a while .. just let it be it will come back..

Yeah. Agree with Orko. That’s what mine has looked like when it’s annoyed at something.

They are very resilient. Just leave it alone. Mine gets beat up by my bubble coral all the time. Tentacles get ripped off and some heads close. Within 2 weeks or so it’s back to normal. Just keep the tank stable.
