Why is my mushroom so unhappy?

I got this discosoma about a month ago. For two weeks it was happy and open, but then closed up like this. After a week, I moved it to lower light with no improvement, so I moved it to the shade two days ago, but still no improvement. All of my other mushrooms and my LPS are happy and growing. Any ideas?

I find my mushrooms prefer rocks and really hate the substrate or being lower down.
