Why is my protein skimmer floating

Probably dumbest question you reefers will ever see.. My protein skimmer is floating and I don’t have suctions on the bottom to hold it down. What do I do?? Never in a million years I would think I’d run into such a silly problem haha

Fill it up with water

Fill it with water and it will stay down.

Turn it on. It will fill with water and sink to the bottom.
