Why is my setosa peeling?

Bob and I have 2 of the in the opposite sides of 120 G, and they are both peeling.

Yea. Was battling nitrates swing. Also ich took 5 of my 10 fish. Not sure if its related. Under control now. Nitrates 5 phos 0.25 alk 9 oh 8.2. Changing water and filtration
