Welcome. Looks like some debris from sand still floating around. Yellowing is usually from the algae and other build ups. you can run some carbon on it to clear it. This will not effect cycle. Also, could try a hang on back filter for a while with just a sponge or phosphate pad to help get that out.
Lastly, cannot tell from pictures, but could it be microbubbles? Tiny little bubbles that look like debris floating that makes tank look foggy. Caused usually by protein skimmer or air getting into a pump.

The white substance on glass is from sand
Are you talking about that??

Could also be just the ambient lighting. Because you do not really want light when cycling. Yes that is sand debris certainly. Do you have something filtering the water? The HOB with sponge helps a lot.

You have stuff floating in the water is why your water is not clear. duh. Did you rinse your sand? Did you just now turn on your power heads? Do you have any sort of skimmer running? What have your added to your tank to start the cycle?

Mine looked similar when it was new. It was from the sand. I ran filter socks but it still took awhile to filter out and build a bio film.

Agree, most likely sand. Also, it may be from a bacterial bloom. Common when cycling, and as the bacteria gets established and evens out with their food source it will clear up. As mentioned, a hang on back filter with some floss will certainly help to pull the sand particles out and polish the water.
