What kind of background do you use on your aquarium? Black? Blue? None? Sea scape?

Back is wrapped in black vinyl. Choice was blue or white also but went with black just because I wanted something to provide some contrast.

I have a sea scape background. I like it, but don’t love it. It is a little too bright blue for me. I also don’t clean my back glass, so it has other colors and things going on too. I am probably going to change to black - someday.

That’s what I’m gonna use, black

I have the cheap black plastic. I have can of blue spray paint waiting for when I tackle that, but ....

I am going with a wall of GSP

green star polyp coral. Here is a picture of @Lasse tank where he used GSP on the back wall. In addition to locking up NO3 and PO4, thus being part of the filtration, it provides a soft lushness to the eye.

It's an out of the box approach to the back wall.

that is gorgeous

I have a black acrylic background that is able to be removed. It has small panels on the the top and bottom. It allows a larger panel to slide behind the two panels securing it. Here is a thread on it...
