Why me?

So im helping my family do a waterchange downstaird and we were both focused on finding buble algea so we could siphone up. Well no one was watching the bucket fill up and so the bucket overflowed about 3 gallons on my hardwood floors. So after done cleaning that mess up, we plug all equipment back in look up and........ Nothing. The filter HOB was not pumping any water through it so about 20 minutes of trying dif outlets and power strip nothing worked. Then the relative got mad (it was there tank) And smacked the bottom of HOB filter. Then we here buzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. It actually worked! Fixed! lol so then i go upstairs to test my tank and my top off bucket was knocked over and water everywhere! What a night!:bowl:

That's okay you're not the only with an accident last night - last night I was mixing up Kalk water and dropped the 1 gallon container of BRS kalk on the bathroom floor and about a pound of it covered by bathroom floor and the carpeted hallway right outside the door. Took about 2 hours of work to clean it up with a respirator and another hour playing goalkeeper to keep the puppy far away. My hepa filter will also need to be replaced since it's going to clog up with the NC humidity when it comes in contact with the kalk powder. I'm also pretty lucky I didn't breathe it in or I'd be sitting in the hospital
