Why my tank has no algae?

I dont want to jix myself. But why my tank has no algae? Its 1 month old. And my sand is clean and i barely have algae on the glass. My blenny is mad with the no algae situation. Any idea what im doing wrong?

You don’t get an algae bloom till the tank is 3 months old

Do you have lights on the tank? If not then it will take awhile but if you do then it will happen worse/soon especially if you are running high intensity lights for extended periods. Be prepared with a good cuc and some pods too.

Depending on your nutrients, lights, and what types of algae you already have in your tank you may not get much for months. It will come though.

The first tank is 6 months old with a strong light. Second is 4 months old with weak light. Both were seeded with the same biofiltration. You can really tell the difference.
