maybe it's just me, but I never get any noticeable polyp extension on my tenuis corals, now or in the past. all my other dps show noticeable extension. my short cake , red dragon , stag horn, milled, all have extension bit not my tenuis.
salinity 1.025
ph 8.26 steady
smh 10
phosphate is .05

any thoughts ???

How much par are they receiving?
Maybe you can try moving it to less light...
Tenuis' like to be around 200-300 par

I only get polyp extension on my bansai colony. Growth is off the charts but millipora, tenuis, cytherea, no polyp extension. I've got flow, great params, great light, I just stopped worrying about PE and appreciate the color and growth.

i tried up high , middle and on the sand. it's a standard 150 gal tank

also no parmetter so ..... out of luck on that one.

Most corals don't have good PE until the lights go off. It's how they survive in the wild.
