Why no videos

You can... well, sort of.

What are you trying to do?

When I post videos, I first upload them to my YouTube channel, and then use a link from there to embed them here. Works fine.

If you're trying to upload a video directly to R2R, well, that's not going to work. Sites like this one can't afford to offer the kind of free storage and hosting needed to do that kind of thing. They offer some limited space for photos, but video takes a huge amount of space to store.

I don't have a you tube channel. Can I post videos some other way?

Videos stored locally on R2R server would be very space/bandwidth intensive; just my educated guess.

Posting to YouTube and embedding here is quite easy on the other hand.

Nope... no way I know of. Perhaps some other video hosting service, but YouTube is easy, and free. If you're going to share videos online, it's the easiest, cheapest way to do so that I know of.

Politically, I've got problems with youtube. Happily, that doesn't keep me from using their services. I'm not paying them, and I'm fairly certain that they're not making any money on the very limited interest videos that I'm posting.
