Hey guys we all make mistakes in this hobby regardless of experience level. In this video I want to share a simple mistake to avoid that could of killed my tank. Hope you can take something from this video.

Thanks for sharing! I have done the same thing. Magnesium was stable and kept in check mainly by water changes (RSCP has a lot of Mg) so I got lazy and only checked every few months. I did this for close to a year and didn't think much off it until I started seeing drastic precipitation. Luckily I caught it before it became a huge issue but it can happen fast when the tank reaches a few years old and Mg demand suddenly make a jump. Snails spawning continuously I think was part of the issue for me.
