Why we use R/O units

I just got my detailed report of the water quality for my area. Very scary all the nasty stuff in there. I am glad i dont drink tap water. Just another reason to show people why you shouldnt use tap water for your tanks (or for your own thirst)

it would be nice to have that kind of test done after the tap water was run through an ro di system

There shouldn't be very much of any of that in there after RODI, if the filters are current. Things like Lead, copper, etc are all coming out if you have 0 TDS.
