So currently dosing BRS for Alk. Test it usually every week, sometimes a few times a week ... was holding steady at 8.6 for weeks. Dosing 100 ml a day consistently. Did not change a thing ...

Then, did not text for about 6 days and just now tested and it raised to 10.6. Not sure why this happened when I did NOTHING different in this time frame.

Any clues or ideas?

What's the reading for magnesium and calcium?

You were likely just dosing more than needed. There can be hundreds of reasons, including testing error, now or previously. I wouldn't agonize over trying to figure out why. :)

You should probably test ALK every day or two for awhile to make sure it's drifting back down (and staying stable).
