Wide 4’ tank

Who makes a “deep” measured from front to back, 4’ tank. Currently have a standard 90gal but looking the upgrade but don’t have much more than 48”s to work with in overall length. Been looking around but haven’t seen the “one” I could go custom but would rather not.

Have you looked at the marineland deep dimension tanks? IIRC they have a 4'x3' 200 gallon

The only place I know of that makes that as a standard size is Glass Cages. They have them in several height options.

Edit: I think I misunderstood.... I thought you were looking for a 48"x48" cube.

Reading the reviews on the deep dimensions they seem to have issues... last thing I need is a tank to blow out.

The only mass market tanks with extra front to back depth are the deep dimension tanks. I'd not hesitate to buy one myself. Next, as noted, is glasscages. They make a number of 48x48 squares of varying height. They're closer to custom, so you will pay a small premium.

I know you don't want custom, but I would at least consider SCA aquariums. They made mine and it isn't perfect, but it is very nice. Just a little cosmetic problem with the eurobracing. They do custom sapphire glass tanks at a reasonable price with an 8 to 12 week lead time. Mine is a 60"x30"x24" but I am sure they could do a 48"x30"x24" for a good price. Less than some off the shelf options.
