I'm trying to figure out the best way to light a new 60x30x24 tank. my intention is to have 95% sps with the occasional shroom or torch. i want to get as little shading as possible as to not inhibit growth. what would you recommend for hanging lamp setup (no canopy) over the tank.

option A: 3 radion xr30s g4 with a 24" wide aquatic life fixture.

option B: 6 radions (3 xr30s and 3 xr15s with a diy dual rail like brs has on there new build

anyone with a wide build want to chime in? keep in mind i'm trying to keep this build as aesthetically pleasing as possible because it is in the main living space of my home

thank you

My tank is 8’ x 3’ and I am using two ATI Powermodules (8 x 54w) with great results. Checkout using two 36” powermodules.

Can I offer another suggestion? I have a 26" wide tank and an 8bulb powermodule is more than enough from end to end.
If aesthetics are important, maybe check out ATI Powermodules. Sleek, one cord, not an eyesore.

I have considered a 8 bulb power module but I am so Invested in Ecotech radions already that is seems to be the easier route.
