Wierd thing on candy cane skeleton

hello i have noticed thisonce I gotthe candy cane home from a long jourbey of 43 hrs.

What is it? Isit bad? How to remove if bad?

it is very tiny has a diameter of almost 6-8 mm. it is brown the tentacles are very small. maybe a baby of some sort of coral. Is it safe to be kept in the tank?
 
Does it appear to have a hard skeleton? I agree with the above though with that side view it is possible it's a pest anemone like a majano.
 
No it is flat, from the photos I checked online either Tongue, or baby polyphyllia one of the two. They look like these names suggested.
