Hello, newbie here. Just yesterday, I bought this - used coralife cube 30 with a ton of sps and a pajama cardinal included. Although I am a total newbie, I instantly recognized a bristleworm from my previous reading. (thanks to this forum). I have two more to identify and would appreciate your help. First one is some type of star - half a centimeter in size. Second is a wierd worm with two antennae-sort of things (like in slugs) 1 cm in size.

Awesome! Thank you.
The tank has a ton of algae. I am guessing the nudibranch will help with algae control. Or is it a pest?
unless it can be correctly ID'd as a berghia nudibranch its difficult to say. could be a pest.

Montipora eating nudibranchs are white like that too. Being that they're was a lot of sps in the tank this could be a possibility.

berghias eat aiptasia so if its a new tank you prob dont have much if any and it will die. they are sought after though in the hobby

I once got a nudibranch on some gorgonia

It was more beautiful than the gorgonia

Such that I kept it and fed it

Unless I specifically bought it, say Bergia nudibranchs, that was the only case I would not suck it out and

Burn It With Fire

The chance of it eating my corals would be too high, too big a risk to take

["What did you feed it?" you ask. Gorgonias of course]
