I'm getting tired of having to move my SD card back and forth from my camera to my computer. Not only is it a pain in the neck and I invariably wind up forgetting to put the card back in the camera, there are a limited number of times you can insert and remove these things before something starts to break.

There are a lot of WiFi enabled SD cards out there these days. I'm wondering if anyone has or is using one and what you think. Seems like a good thing for the odd picture here or there, but maybe would be slow when you are talking about a few dozen.

I have FlashAir! Love it. It does take a little longer if your going to do a bunch of photos but not an unreasonable amount of time!

Awesome! How does their card work? Do you need any subscriptions?

No subscriptions! Just a app you download (I have iPhone. Not sure if they have android app) Then you just leave camera on and open the app and there are your pictures!

I had an EYEfi one and my dog ate it [emoji58] but I believe once you opened the app it would store the pictures so you didn't have to turn your camera on every time you wanted to transfer pictures (don't quote me I only used a few times)

That's great! I shoot in RAW, can you still grab them with the app and use them online. Say.... on a reefing forum much like this one :) Does it do the coversion to JPEG?

What about on a computer?

I know I can probably just google these things, but since you have it... :)

I believe so ... maybe google that one. I also shoot in raw. Last time I used it I was in Arizona and didn't realize I had my camera set it RAW and JPG. But I believe it pulled both images over to my phone. When I am loading photos into Lightroom I just use it like a regular memory card

I didnt know wifi sd cards existed but my camera has wifi connect ability and connects to an app that I move photos with.
