Wil color ever come back

I’m currently treating my bi color angel with copper bc he has ick. The disease completely took away most of his blue color and it turned white. Will his color ever come back?? I’ve been treating with copper for about a week and half and he’s still white..

Once healthy and in a nice environment and good food, it should come back.

I can’t tell but theoretically it should color back up

Lighting can have something to do with it too. Is there an led above your qt or is this ambient light? My fish look night and day different between the two
