Any ideas on this hitchhiker? There’s 2 of them on this wild Aussie piece. Looks like a blue green tounge, hard to the touch.

It's a type of algae, like a bubble algae

Interesting, wouldn’t have thought it would be algae. Looks to be more like “Dictyosphaeria versluysii” as its solid and hard.
