How long does it typically take a wild caught fish to acclimate to tank life? I received a new blue eyed tang last Friday (25th) and its busied itself by swimming against glass in the front corner just about non-stop (except at night). It's just now starting to peck at the rock which is a good sign because it didn't eat for the first few days.

How big a fish? How big a tank? How old is the tank? What other tank mates?

A 3.5" Blue Eye Tang in a 72g bow front that is 10 years old who lives with a clown fish, a six line wrasse, a convict goby, and a blue chromis.
