Wild, Mariculture, aquaculture. What u think?

I have had success and failure with all types. Would it be true to say that all the new corals came from the ocean and not someone's tank? Which are faster growers? Better color? What have you experienced?

Aquaculture - you typically get a coral that has grown at least one generation. That gives you better odds of success as well as a better idea of coloration and growth in captivity.

Mariculture and wild - both can be hit or miss as they are straight from the ocean. Long term survivability growth and final coloration are not known. This includes the lastest and greatest chop shop "new releases".

"New Releases" - this happens everyday and they are all wild/maricultured lol. Growth rate and color is hard to say. Frag has a faster rate but not more growth since it's smaller. For color I think sometimes frags especially designer frags can be very colorful and maricultured or wild can also be a gem if your water conditions are right.

I hit 100% success with wild one as compared to aquacultured SPS. I have a few on the sand, tumbled and moving around but still having very good PE, no color loss and growing.
