Wild NJ ocean side snails clean or not?

Hey all i went down to sandy hook last night and got a bucket full of bunch of snails mostly black ones look like Nassarius Snails just all black was wonder how to clean them and not contaminate my reef i have tangs and ich free tank cant afford to introduce it i was thinking
fresh water rinse heavily
Then rodi saltwater mix rinse twice another fresh water rinse then into the sump?

I'm not sure what those snails are, but I collect a lot of critters, including a variety of snails, here in Florida. I put them in a 5 or 10 gallon holding tank for a day or more and if they look OK, they go in my DT. In 20+ years, I've never had an issue.
