Will 2 ai prime hd on a reefer 250 be enough

You could combine the best of both worlds...2 AI Prime HD LEDs down the middle and 1 36" T5 on each side (front and back).

That what I did.

Band sawed down some Kessil a80's and put them in my mid section.

Got the Kessil shimmer with the T5 front and back fill in and it still looks factory from the outside

To make matters worse I was at a frag swap and won a raffle and got a Kessil a 160we so do I get another one of them trade it in sell it I don't know lost

When is winning a raffle ever a bad thing? Haha. If it were me, I wouldn't use the Kessil on the Reefer 250. I'd say either sell it to fund some better lights or keep it and use it on a fish/coral QT tank or something.

I don't know if 2 160's could cover the Reefer 250 35" width without hanging so high that the par would be gone.

It looks way better now. The tank picture was taken a week before I modded in the Kessil's
Now everything is just basking under them. The wall hammer at the bottom extends so much now, that you can't even see the H shape anymore.

You made a great choice with the RB Photon and I know the good feeling of getting the lights done and putting them in the rear view mirror.
