I've read where hammer corals can live with a frogspawn and not go to war. How 'bout a branched hammer? Anyone had any experience with this?

I had a hammer and a torch next to each other for a little while, they didn't fight. Both part of the euphyllia family :)

I've had a Octospawn and Hammer pushed together for a few years now, grew like weeds the both of em. lol

Yep. I have a branching hammer right next to my frogspawn. I think they’re happier touching than they were separated :D

I have hammers and frogspawns of different types, and even a grape coral, touching. I have torches nearby, but they're both downstream from the others. What I have heard, is that torches can co-exist peacefully with the other Euphyllia species for weeks or months, and then suddenly decide to lash out with sweepers and damage or kill them all.

Great thread

And (lol) I would have never thought you could pull it off.

We used to have a euphyllia garden and all the hammers and frogspawn got a long great. They looked really cool with there tentacles flowing together. We never had luck with torch corals playing nice though.
