Will an emerald crab and a cbs fight, I want to add my emerald crab to a 60 gallon but it has a cbs, also will the emerald eat the hair algea?

Cyano comes about from either poor flow or phosphates (typically high phosphates). You can remove a bunch and then do chemi clean. Then maybe add some waste away if your nitrates and phosphates are high.

If your have a decent amount of phosphates then the cyano will come back.

Ok, I’m caught up now.
I have had emerald and coral banded and they never fought that I saw.

Emerald ate bubble and hair algae. But once they get bigger I don’t trust them by my coral so I trade at LFS for smaller one.

Cyano I suctioned out and used chemiclean and it never returned.
