Will a plastic putty knife scratch my acrylic tank?

I got a plastic putty knife from home depot yesterday because I was planning to do a deep cleaning. I was hoping tis thing would make my life easier with coraline algae. I will also be using a credit card which I have been using but just wanted to know if the putty knife would be good to use?

I've used them without scratching my tank. I Like Plastic razor blades better.

Apparently a mr clean magic eraser is really magic for acrylic. Reef safe too.
