Will a Sixline Wrasse do better than a Firefish?

I've got two mixed reef tanks heavy on LPS/softies/liverock in both (20 Long and 36 bowfront). I had an oscellaris in the 20 Long and in the 36 Bow I had a black clown and yellow watchman. Everything was fine but I couldn't leave well enough alone and bought a Sixline wrasse and firefish. I introduced a six line wrasse into the 20 (with the ocellaris) and they get along great. But then I put a firefish in the 36 with the Blackclown and Yellow watchman. Problem is that the blackclown chases the firefish.

Question: Will the sixline be better with the black clown in the 36? So Sixline/Black Cllown/Yellow watchman in 36 and 20 will have Ocellars and Firefish. Or is this a situation where the Blackclown will bully anything...still wondering why he leaves the yellow watchman alone. Obviously the switch would be alot of work, does anyone know?

sixline can hold its own against pretty much anything unless there is a huge size difference between your black and him. Put him in with the clown and see, but don't be suprised if the tables get turned in there.

take the sixline back to the lfs. if youre using him for pest control id look at the canary wrasse!

Take back the clowns and keep the FF and 6Line Those clowns own the tanks and are evil!!!

That sixline can defend itself against any fish, you may want to consider bringing it back if you ever want to get any other wrasses. Sixlines get very very evil towards and will kill anything that resembles a wrasse. If you don't plan on getting another wrasse the sixline will be fine with the meaner clown but I would not be surprised in three weeks when the sixline is chasing the clown, and definitely the goby. Sixline are cool fun to watch but if you want a similar fish that is more friendly get a yellow coris wrasse as long as you have at least a 2 inch sand bed or a two inch sand bed inside a bowl.

Six lines and clowns can be very mean when introduced into a aquarium early should be the meanest last shy fish first or you will have fish jumping out

Watch six lines they get pretty aggressive. Down the road if you wanna add other wrasses you can't . There are other wrasses are not aggressive and very colorful .and clowns are last
