So I just repositioned me toadstool. I had it just placed in the sand and it was just straight up and down. Today I glued the foot up in a little cave and am hoping the head and "stem" will bend up and curve toward the light. Is this possible?

I did this bc I saw a LFS with theres in similar positions and liked it.

It depends on the strength of the lighting. In intense light it could possibly grow away from the light but probably as long as he wasnt too shocked by the move and increase in light, he will move towards it!

Hes in pretty much the exact same spot, just angled differently. Lighting isnt all that strong. Current ic. Probably middle of the road for a nano tank from my understanding.

Thanks

Yeah then he should be fine!
The other thing to consider is flow. But give him some time and he should bend towards the light even if the flow is agains him :)

So that happened a lot quicker than I thought. As of yesterday the whole head did exactly what I was hoping for. Did a complete 90 and bent up towards the light.

Thanks

Maybe in a few days. Ran into my first big problem since starting my tank. Had an ammonia spike and a little mini cycle. A few corals, toadstool included didnt do too great. Things are starting to pick back up.

But the toadstool definitely has some darker spots that I hope will grow out.
