Will a VORTECH MP10WQD work on a Reefer 350?

I just purchased a Reefer 350 and the glass is 12 mm and the max thickness for the pump is 9.5mm according to the specs. I know just from the numbers that it will not work but I was wondering if anyone has tried and successfully used these on this tank or thickness of glass without problems?

Ur fine ive seen it done on a 450
