Will Acana heal

I have a couple Acans recently damaged. I didn’t t notice some freakin red mushrooms killing an edge of one. The other, got knocked upside down in the sand while I was out of town. Will these heal naturally or does the damaged portion need to be removed?

Most coral will heal if not affected with bacteria.
