No it wont disrupt it. There are two types of bacteria though, the nitrifying ones that turn ammonia into nitrite and the denitrifying ones that turn nitrite into nitrate. So if you were only adding the latter it wont help, check the label

Sorry I need to correct myself: 2 types of nitrifying ones - turning ammonia into nitrite and ones turning nitrite into nitrate. The denitrifying ones turn the nitrate into nitrogen gas that can leave the tank. If your bacteria bottle is for cycling it will be just fine.

As you'll read on the instructions, adding more than the reccomended dose won't help it cycle faster. Although it's tempting to do so, it can actually hurt the long term stability of the tank depending on the bacterial product (heterotrophic bacterial addition outcompeting nitryfying bacteria, too much bacteria can cause a bacterial bloom and deplete oxygen, etc). I don't remember what type of bacteria Dr. Tims is, so I can't comment on that in particular, but a lot of testing goes into products like Fritz, MB7, Dr. Tims, etc. From the experiments I've seen, their dosages seem to be pretty close to ideal dosing.

Great info from @andrewey! Here is an awesome thread on the subject if you haven't already read it.
