will algaefix marine hurt coral?

A friend of mine used it against my advice and claims his shrooms started dying the next day and xenia won't open.

IMO any algaecide is sketchy but it claims to be coral safe.

I’ve used AlgaeFix quite a few times with no casualties on my SPS tank. I just used it a few weeks ago to clear up some hair algae I had developed.
