Will Aluminum Light Mounts Leach into Water

So I just put my orphek lights up using orphek's universal mounting arms which are made of thick aluminum. The bottom of the mounts dip a couple millimeters into my display and are pretty much always submerged. Is this something I need to worry about?

Aluminum will react with saltwater most certainly. If it is sealed or hard anodized it might not be as reactive but bare aluminum will corrode for sure.

If your concerned you can get it powder coated. This will protect it.

The mount is anodized, so it won't corrode. No need for extra surface treatments.
