Will An Algae Blenny Or Emerald Crab Eat Macro Algae?

Hiya,

I was considering converting my little Fluval 13.5 to a macro build, but I currently have an algae blenny and emerald crab in there and do not want to move them. Will either of these famous algae eaters chomp macros? Odo, lettuce, red ragon and the like...

The Blenny wouldn't but the Crab might if it's hungry enough

lol I’m not sure but I’m actually looking for something that will eat the lettuce because it’s growing right on the coral frags. I don’t want Emerald crabs though.

Most likely the emerald crab will eat the lettuce and if he doesn't he might just snip/cut it. The Blenny will probably prefer the sea lettuce over the other macroaglae.
