I think I want an urchin because they look so cool. But my entire tank is covered in purple coralline algae and I love the look. I'm torn because I know coralline would be on the menu. Will a small blue tuxedo or halloween urchin eat the tank bare of coralline or only put a dent in it? It's a 125 gallon tank.

Good! I'm gonna pick one up tonight! Thanks everyone

I am sure you already got one, but if you do get a Halloween ensure everything is glued down in the tank. Had one in there and he would literally take corals all day every day and move around with them on his back. Not cool, especially if he goes into the rock work and it falls off.

Yeah, mine knocked an entire rock with a monti upside down onto my large elegance and it is taking months for it to recover!

Also, in case you don’t know...... transfer it in water, never take it out even if it is grabbing it from a bucket after acclamation and putting immediately in the tank... keep it submerged in water AT ALL TIMES
