Will aussie gold torch go down in money or keep going up?

Want to see what yall think, will shipments and maybe even bans on importation cause aussie torches to go even higher than they already are (around $300+)

If theres a ban, it will shoot up in value, like if 80% of gold disappeared, gold will shoot up in value. If shipments aren't common, they will have less value around the time the shipment arrives

Depends what happens - More people propagate them then they’ll go down but ban and they’ll shoot up in price

If theres a high chance of a ban, keep it. If theres a high chance of people propagting and more shipments, sell when you have the chance

definitely agree there but i think the price right now more reflects demand than it does shipment costs as gold torches have cost a lot even before the pandemic, rewind 5-6 years and i could get an aussie gold for around 80

The price of the Aussie golds have always been high. They were $200+/polyp when I got into the hobby 6 years ago. And they are still expensive at $280-350 /polyp now...

im in ny near nyc, everything fresh import is usually found for pretty cheap except for aquacultured corals or corals that are in demand like bubbled up mushrooms and now even more so these gold torches, it really is a shame i do love them. Aussie gold torches have now mostly been classified as either 24k or holy grail or some other bs to sell higher and i hate it

nvm you are from australia, you wouldnt understand our stuff over here, you can get euphyllia and acropora colonies for so much cheaper over there, im jealous

Don't know. The price is as high as it is mostly due to hype not supply. There is plenty of that stuff to go around but vendors know they can convince people the colony they bought for $50 from a wholesaler and chopped up is worth $200 a frag so they will continue to do it.

Isnt he in australia?

He is as well as the vendor and he laughed at the way we name things. His order forms never identify the corals other then their scientific class. That’s the way he sells them unlike here.
