As the title says: will Bi-colour Foxface rabbitfish eat bubble algae or is this something only some occasionally do?

That's too bad, but a small price to pay for living in such an awesome place! If it's any consolation, my emerald crabs preferred tastier things in the tank anyway. I got rid of a bubble algae problem years ago by significantly lowering my nutrient levels and manual removal. Don't believe what you read about avoiding popping the bubbles because of spores. What do you think happens when crabs or fish pick at them? You'll always have their spores in the tank anyway. Important thing is to get rid of the colonies. Also, check out the reefcleaners.org website. They have lots of suggestions on CUC that are good for bubble algae---and maybe some of them are available in NZ. Good luck! (And welcome to R2R!)
