Will copper adhere to an air stone?

I have one power head in my 37 G QT and is pointing toward the surface to create oxygen. I also bought a medium sized airstone to supplement the powerhead. Since I will be medicating with copper, is there a risk that the copper will adhere to the air stone and cause me future problems?

Being air stones are porous (like LR), I would expect there to be some absorption. Therefore, I would only use that air stone for future QT use.
