Will copper kill dinoflagellates?

@Humblefish and others I'm curious if you've run across any data that shows if copper will kill dinoflagellates. Fish are certainly a proposed vector for introducing nuisance dinos into a tank and it would be nice if quarantining would prevent this. Thoughts?
 
Copper will inhibit the growth of dinos, it is lethal to few types not all, but the rest will inhibit their growth by not allowing them to divide or by affecting their metabolism.

That's too bad. I wonder if metro would knock them back enough then so that the risk of introduction would be eliminated?
