I've had a dwarf beauty,Mollie and goby in qt 7 weeks with ick. First 4 weeks I treated with paraguard and metroplex soaked food. Did not eradicate ick but knocked it down to a level were it was not visible on the fish but the Angel continued scratching. I changed quarentene tanks (new everything including equipment) dosed cupramine 6 days to reach thereputic level .5 held this for 14 days. As soon as I placed the Angel in the new tank she stopped flashing and scratching and I never seen her do it again in the 14 day time. Dropped copper levels to zero and she scratching and shaking fins. Will copper mask the symptoms of ick ? At the end of the 14 days after the water change I dosed prazipro.
