I moved my reef to a new tank a few months ago but keep my existing tank running to turn into a low maintenance FOWLR with just a few fish in to for us to enjoy on our dining room. I’ve got an angel fish and clown the tank and aim to get a blue spot puffer and two butterflyfish (likely pearlscale and latticed).
The tank has a smattering of old corals including zoas, palys, spongodes, toadstools, and sinularia.
I don’t care if the fish eat the corals but I was wondering if I should be concerned with the butterfly’s might have toxicity accumulate from the zoas and palys in the tank?
